Where Blackstock sits
Blackstock is the crossroads village of the former Cartwright Township, at the junction of Highway 7A and Regional Road 57 east of the Scugog causeway. TRREB's community is the village itself and its immediate surroundings: roughly a square kilometre of streets around Church Street and the fairgrounds, plus the farm lots that front the village edges. Nestleton and Nestleton Station to the north, Caesarea on the lake, and the concession farms south toward the Clarington line are filed under Rural Scugog, and a listing on the fringe can appear under either name depending on the agent, so search both.
