Getting ahead of the Ajax week
Because the town is small, a new Ajax listing is seen by most active buyers within a day or two, and the first weekend decides a lot. Two habits help. Narrow your filters to the pockets you would actually buy in, for instance the wartime and postwar streets of Central for a starter house, the lakeside blocks in the town's south for a stroll to the lake, or Northeast Ajax for a newer four-bedroom near the Audley Recreation Centre. Then turn the search into an alert: sign in, save it, and tick email delivery, and the site messages you whenever a matching Ajax home is added to the feed. When a listing arrives with an offer date, ask the team to check the seller's expectations before you spend on an inspection.
